In-Office X-Ray & Diagnostic Ultrasound

On-site imaging, so Dr. Opensky can see what’s causing your pain and start the right treatment sooner.

Foot & Ankle X-Rays

X-rays show the bones and joints of your feet and ankles. Having imaging in the office means fewer extra appointments and a faster, more accurate plan.

X-rays help us evaluate:

  • Fractures and stress fractures
  • Arthritis and joint damage
  • Bunion and hammertoe alignment
  • Heel spurs
  • Healing after an injury or surgery

Diagnostic Ultrasound

Ultrasound shows soft tissue in real time, including tendons, ligaments, and the plantar fascia, which an X-ray can’t show.

Ultrasound helps us:

  • Measure plantar fascia thickening in heel pain
  • Check Achilles and other tendons for injury
  • Find neuromas and cysts
  • Look for fluid and inflammation
  • Guide injections precisely

How long does imaging take?

Usually just a few minutes as part of your visit.

Is imaging covered by insurance?

Imaging is usually covered when it’s medically necessary, but coverage varies by plan. Our team can help you check your benefits.
