Meet Shawana

Hi! I’m Shawana, the office manager at Opensky Podiatry. I was born and raised in Skokie, IL, and I’m currently studying at DePaul University. I’m in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, answering phones, managing appointments, and keeping things on track (most of the time!). One of my favorite parts of the job is chatting with our patients, sometimes a little too much if you ask anyone who knows me. Luckily, I work with a pretty funny boss who keeps things light and makes every day interesting. When I’m not at work or school, I’m probably catching up with friends, watching something ridiculous on Netflix, or pretending I didn’t forget to do my homework. If you call the office, you’ll probably hear me first, and yes, I might throw in a foot pun or two. Working at a podiatry office, it’s only right that we stay on our toes!
